In remediation projects a Remediation Plan (RMP) is drawn up, which is usually structured in the following sections:
- Introduction and accreditations.
- The current situation of the site is put into context, the studies carried out prior to this Remediation Plan are described, including the Quantitative Risk Analysis and the Legal Framework that applies.
- A study of alternatives is carried out and the chosen remediation project and the actions to be carried out in the environmental monitoring are described.
- The points to be included in the final report describing all the work carried out are listed.
- Annexes containing the figures named throughout the text, the analytical results obtained during the investigation of the site and the specific Land Management Plan.
