ISO 17020 accreditation

Since 2010 MediTerra has been an inspection body accredited by ENAC with accreditation no. 193/EI349. It is accredited by ENAC under the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard as a Type C Inspection Entity for the performance of Inspections in the Area of Potentially Contaminated Soils and Groundwater Associated with Potentially Contaminated Soils and including Quantitative Risk Analysis. MediTerra was the first company in Spain to obtain ENAC accreditation for Quantitative Risk Analysis (2016).

Since 2018 MediTerra Consultores Ambientales S.L. has been accredited by the Directorate General for Environmental Quality and Climate Change of the Generalitat de Catalunya as a control entity in the sectorial field of prevention of soil contamination with the registration number in the Register of collaborating environmental entities 085-EC- SOL-R including all areas: Research (I), Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) and Decontamination Projects (PD).

Since 2020 MediTerra has been registered in the registry of collaborating entities in the field of environmental quality in the autonomous community of Andalusia with the registry number of the collaborating entity REC130.

Since 2007 MediTerra has been accredited as an inspection and recovery entity for soil quality within the framework of the provisions of Decree 199/2006 of the Basque Country.

Since 2019 MediTerra has been registered in the register of collaborating entities in the field of contaminated soils in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura (ESC 01 036 19 EX).

Since 2016 MediTerra has been registered in the register of collaborating entities in the field of environmental pollution in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands under registration number ECA-44 (Section 5, soil pollution).

Other autonomous communities only require accreditation by ENAC under the ISO 17020 standard, such as Galicia, Valencia, Castilla-La Mancha, etc., or simply to have justified technical capacity, such as in Madrid.
