Every 10th of October, we join the global observance of World Mental Health Day, a moment to remind ourselves that wellbeing goes far beyond physical health. This year’s theme, “Access to Services – Mental Health in Disasters and Emergencies,” calls for action to ensure that everyone can receive the psychological support they need, especially in times of crisis.
Emergencies such as natural disasters, pandemics, or conflicts affect not only our surroundings but also our emotional balance. Millions of people worldwide experience anxiety, stress, or trauma during such situations. Ensuring access to mental health services is, therefore, an essential part of protecting people’s health and safety.
At MediTerra, we understand that safety in the workplace means caring for both body and mind. Stress, fatigue, and emotional strain can reduce concentration, increase mistakes, and weaken communication. Supporting mental wellbeing strengthens our teams, enhances safety, and builds resilience across the organisation.
This World Mental Health Day, at MediTerra we reaffirm our belief that health and safety are inseparable from wellbeing. Together, we can continue building a workplace where everyone feels supported — every day of the year.
