MediTerra participated in the technical conference on water risks and remediation organised by Georemedia in Madrid, a specialised meeting that brought together professionals from the environmental sector to analyse the main challenges associated with the management, protection and recovery of water resources.
Representing MediTerra, Ele Vallés and Sylvie Maclean attended the event and took part in the different technical sessions focused on identifying risks associated with water contamination, as well as current remediation and recovery strategies for affected aquifers and water bodies.
During the conference, different approaches to assessing environmental risk related to water contamination were addressed, including diagnostic methodologies, monitoring tools and management frameworks aimed at preventing and mitigating impacts. Various remediation technologies and solutions applied to contaminated soils and groundwater were also presented.
The meeting also made it possible to analyse practical cases and technical experiences related to the management of contaminated sites, as well as to discuss the regulatory and technical challenges that the sector faces in terms of water protection.
For MediTerra, these types of technical forums are essential to continue advancing in knowledge exchange, technical updating and the search for innovative solutions that contribute to improving environmental management and the protection of water resources.
