The recognition places Mediterra in the 95th percentile and among the top 5% of companies rated for sustainability, with an overall score of 81 out of 100.
MediTerra has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal 2026, an international recognition of its commitment to sustainability, responsible management and continuous improvement.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most widely recognised business sustainability rating platforms. Its methodology assesses the quality of a company’s sustainability management system through policies, actions and results, and covers four key themes: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
EcoVadis medals recognise companies that have completed the assessment and demonstrated, compared with other rated companies, a strong sustainability management system. Since 2024, medals have been based on percentile ranking, meaning that the recognition reflects a company’s performance in relation to all assessed companies at the time the scorecard is published.
In the assessment published on 17 June 2026, MediTerra achieved an overall score of 81 out of 100 and reached the 95th percentile. This result places the company among the top 5% of rated businesses and confirms a high level of maturity in its sustainability management.
The theme scores show particularly strong performance in Ethics, with 86 out of 100, and Environment, with 84 out of 100. These results reflect solid management in two essential areas: business integrity and environmental responsibility. In Labour and Human Rights, MediTerra achieved 78 out of 100, also a strong score that supports its progress in social and labour-related management.
For MediTerra’s customers, this Gold Medal represents an additional guarantee. At a time when companies are increasingly required to assess their suppliers with greater rigour, an independent rating such as EcoVadis supports decision-making and strengthens trust. The recognition helps customers identify MediTerra as a partner aligned with environmental, social and ethical criteria, and as a company capable of contributing to their own sustainability goals.
This result also adds value in procurement, supplier approval and supplier selection processes, especially for customers that integrate ESG criteria into their supply chains. MediTerra’s score provides external evidence of its commitment and helps reduce reputational, operational and compliance risks for the customers who rely on the company.
The EcoVadis Gold Medal 2026 is not only a recognition of achievement, but also an incentive to keep improving. MediTerra reaffirms its commitment to working responsibly, transparently and with a long-term focus on creating sustainable value for its customers, teams, suppliers and wider environment.
