Mediterra attends the Inogen Alliance spring meeting in San José, Costa Rica

From 3 to 6 November 2025, MediTerra took an active part in the Inogen Alliance Global Associates Meeting, held in San José (Costa Rica) and hosted by the local associate CDG – Consultoría de Gestión Ambiental. The event brought together environmental consulting firms from five continents to share experiences, strengthen alliances and define the strategic lines that will guide the international network in the coming years.

Our representatives —Jordi Boronat, Nila Nielsen and Laura Martos— attended the working sessions, technical visits and networking activities that shaped a meeting especially focused on emerging global sustainability challenges, corporate environmental management and new trends in ESG.

Global knowledge exchange and shared strategies

The meeting began with an update on the main regulatory and market trends at an international scale: new ESG reporting requirements, climate change adaptation, innovations in circular economy and emissions management. These sessions made it possible to place the role of environmental consulting in a global context that is evolving rapidly.

During the sessions, different associates presented success stories and discussed shared approaches to managing multinational projects, a key aspect for MediTerra as a company that supports clients with international presence.

Technical visit: plastics recycling and sustainable construction

One of the most notable moments was the visit organised by CDG to local facilities dedicated to plastics recycling, waste recovery and the production of sustainable construction materials. This field trip offered all participants a direct perspective of the innovations under development in the environmental sector of Central America.

A global network, a local impact

MediTerra’s participation in this event reaffirms our commitment to:

  • collaborating internationally with more than 80 member companies of the alliance,

  • contributing to the development of shared methodologies for environmental management,

  • integrating new tools and emerging knowledge into our services,

  • and positioning Catalonia and Spain as benchmarks in high-quality environmental solutions.

It is a key opportunity to reinforce our vision: Global thinking, Local delivery
